When it comes to tinting windows, the crew at Audio Designs & Custom Graphics has been described as obsessive. There could be no higher compliment to the effort we put into every stage of our window tinting process – from the materials we use to the way we prep your vehicle and, finally, how we install the film itself. Each step is designed to produce the highest-quality result possible. This article discusses our window tint warranty that we provide for every one of our window tint installations.
High-Quality Films Nearly Eliminate Warrantying For Product Failure
Since we are located in Jacksonville, Florida, our clients are very familiar with what effect the sun has on the interior of a vehicle. Materials can fade, plastics can dry out and crack, and the inside interior temperature gets excruciatingly hot. A high-quality window tint film will protect the interior of the vehicle from the infrared and ultraviolet rays of the sun as well as make the vehicle more comfortable – and our films do exactly that. We have chosen our films not only for their protection properties but for their quality and reliability as well. Instead of using dyes, our films use carbon so that the film will not fade, even in the harsh Florida sun.
So, exactly how confident are we in the quality of the films that we use? Well, we have never had even a single warranty claim on any of our films in 11 years! How’s that for quality and reliability!
Proper Application Of The Film Is Equally As Important As Film Quality For Length Of Life And Longevity
When we are prepping a vehicle for film application, we take care to ensure the glass is completely free of solvents that could damage the film. The cleaner we use has a carefully chosen pH level that does not promote the growth of mildew or mold under the tint. We use a low-mineral-content water to ensure that not even microscopic levels of material are left behind that could affect the way the tint adheres to the glass. Finally, we utilize a heavy-duty, high-pressure Power Squeegee that allows us to get all of the water from beneath the film. Conventional hand-held “card” squeegees do get most of the water out, but they still leave just enough behind to affect the water evaporation, adhering and curing of the tint to the glass. This causes the film to never properly adhere to the glass and eventually over time, as the film and glass both expand and contract, the film slowly loses adhesion to the glass and air pockets form that cause bubbles and peeling. No worries, though! Here at Audio Designs & CG, we get all of the water out to ensure proper, maximum adhesion and the highest optical clarity possible. Your film installation from us will look clear and beautiful most likely even longer than you’ll own the car!
So Does That Mean You Don’t Offer A Tint Warranty?
So, with the high-quality of the films that we use along with the exceptional quality of our installations, does that mean we don’t offer a tint warranty? Of course not! No matter how great the film product we use is or how well the application of the tint is performed. Everyone wants to have a guarantee behind a product and service they purchase for peace of mind, just in case! Our films are covered by one of the best warranties in the automotive film industry. They come with a complete nationwide, lifetime warranty.
Reassurance Of Nationwide Tint Warranty Coverage
In the highly unlikely event that a film actually does fail and has to be replaced, you have nothing to worry about. The film will be replaced by us at no charge to you, or at any other authorized dealer in the country. Worried about moving elsewhere and another dealer possibly refusing to cover a tint warranty replacement? Our manufacturer has that covered too. They actually pay the individual dealer that does the work and handles the warranty claim for the cost of the film and the labor for removing and reapplying new film. In fact, some dealers end up getting paid more by the manufacturer for the warranty claim than what they charge their customers! So, we are given plenty of motivation to help out any customer in need of a warranty tint job. It doesn’t matter if you move across the state or to the other side of the country! You can be confident that you are always covered.

I spoke to someone on Thursday evening about a Ford Escape. I want all of the windows done. He said $350 plus tax for carbon film, and that it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
If you have an opening Monday, I will bring it by on Monday am, around 10ish. We will be paying with a company check.

These are all very good points! You had mentioned the quality of the window tint film. I think this is very important among many other things. Reputable brands like 3m are the best. My window tint shop (brookfieldtint.com) uses only 3m. There are many people who will buy cheaper brands but I know we have not had any problems with this product. It lays nicely with no bubbles, cracks, or chips. You are going to pay a little more for a role but “you pay for what you get.”
When finding a shop that does quality work make sure they have some kind of long term warranty. If the quality of the film is good and have the shop has experience backing them up it should last a very long time. Make sure they have previous customers that were satisfied with there work. Do your research!
Good Website guys. Very informative. I will be back and tell people about it.
