Here at Audio Designs & Custom Graphics, we tint a lot of vehicles. And people often ask us why they should get their vehicle tinted when we offer this service to them. That’s a good question, so here are the Top 5 reasons to tint your vehicle’s windows in Florida:
1. Window Tint Blocks Heat
Living is Florida is great – we all love the sun, the beach and, of course, the warmer weather – but wow, does it get hot! Have you ever noticed the rush of hot air that escapes from your vehicle on a hot day when you first open your door after the vehicle has been sitting in the sun for even a little while? The interior of your vehicle experiences what is called the greenhouse effect, where the air inside gets much hotter that the air outside. In fact, people have seen temperatures of over 135 degrees inside their vehicles on a hot summer day. Window tint can block up to 85% of the sun’s heat-producing infrared rays, keeping your vehicle much cooler. Stop by today to see the heat rejection that window tint can offer, we have a working display that lets you feel the incredible difference.
2. Window Tint Protects Your Interior
We have all seen the damaging effects of the sun on items over time. Window tint can protect the interior of your vehicle from this damage, making it look better for a longer period of time. A vehicle is the second-largest purchase most of us will ever make, so doesn’t it make sense to safeguard it?
3. Window Tint Protects Your Valuables
Window tint will darken the interior of your vehicle, making it harder for someone to notice what’s inside. You will now feel safer about leaving something of value in your vehicle, as it will be harder for a thief to notice it. (We still urge everyone to put valuables in the trunk, not out on the seat.)
4. Window Tint Improves Esthetics
Window tinting simply makes your vehicle looks better. Just having us tint your windows will add a clean, classy look to your vehicle and make it look more expensive. If you see two vehicles parked near each other and one of them has tinted windows, that’s always the one that looks better.
5. Window Tint Protects You From Skin Cancer
We saved the best one for last. Adding window tint to your vehicle reduces the chance of you getting skin cancer from being exposed to the sun while driving. Audio Designs & Custom Graphics even has a clear film we can apply to your windshield for the ultimate in skin protection. As a bonus, you will also get the benefit of slowing down the aging effects of sun exposure on your skin.

Wonderful Points. Although tinted windows can help increase safety and prevent car accidents, they can also contribute to accidents if the tinting substantially reduces driver visibility.
