The staff at Audio Designs & Custom Graphics know the Ford Focus quite well. The third-generation Focus handles well, and many models include the Ford Sync voice recognition-equipped radio. But, as with most factory systems, the Focus lacks the ability to reproduce bass of any quality or quantity. We have come up with a solution to this problem: our Stack Fab constructed dual 10” Ford Focus subwoofer enclosure for 2012 and newer hatchback models. You can purchase the Ford Focus subwoofer enclosure here!
Design
When the first 2012 Focus hatchback came to us for a subwoofer upgrade, we knew right away that this was going to be a great project. Ford does an admirable job with the source unit features, but their choice of front and rear speakers lacks the ability to reproduce an enjoyable bass line. We created the Focus Hatchback Dual 10” subwoofer enclosure to resolve that issue. This design allows the enclosure to fit around the factory spare tire and replace the foam storage trays. The result is a completely stealth enclosure that offers great bass without taking up any space in the hatch area.
Construction
We build each and every Focus enclosure using the extremely rigid Stack Fab technique. This construction methodology ensures that the enclosure is very rigid and free from resonance. We use nine layers of premium-quality hardwood MDF in the build process. The net air volume is designed to work perfectly with a pair of 10” Audiomobile GTS-series subwoofers. These subwoofers produce accurate and deep bass from shallow, compact enclosures. We can modify the design to use a single subwoofer in a sealed or vented enclosure to save a few pounds or to better suit your listening preferences. We take the subwoofer fabrication quality level up a notch by coating the entire interior with a layer of fiberglass resin to make it 100 percent airtight.
Invisible
The enclosure features a recess into which the subwoofers sit. This mounting method allows the mesh-grille-equipped floor panel that we provide to sit tightly against the enclosure without fear of the subwoofer cones hitting the trim panel at high volume levels. Of course, the mesh grilles protect the subwoofers from wayward sports equipment or the week’s groceries. We cover the floor panel with tough, breathable carpet for a finish that can handle daily use and keep looking great for years and years.

You have less than $100.00 in material for the carpeted enclosure fitting a Ford Focus. How can you justify the cost, please explain.
Thanks
Nice design but way overpriced in my opinion
