Muscle cars these days are very different than the ones from years past. Exhaust Systems

Exhaust systems are probably one of the most popular products we sell for muscle cars, with good reason. Stock exhaust systems don’t have the growl or rumble of a good aftermarket exhaust system, or even the volume. Who doesn’t love driving up the road in a muscle car and punching it, looking forward to that melodious sound of the engine spinning up towards redline? An exhaust system will also give you more power and increased fuel efficiency as there is less restriction than a factory exhaust system. Maybe you want to change the look of your exhaust system based on where it exits, or the style of tip, or you simply want that stainless look. Whatever your desire, we can help.

Air Intake Systems

Air intake systems, throttle bodies, and throttle body spacers are all items designed to free up the air going into your engine, and help to supply cooler, denser air as well. They give you more power, plus when installing an air intake specifically, you get an incredible sound coming from the intake side of the engine when you floor it. If you couple that with an exhaust system, the sound can be pure heaven. A wonderful side note to this category of product is the increased fuel efficiency that comes along with the performance.

Power Programmers

Power programmers, or chips, have been popular for over forty years on muscle cars. Essentially what they do is remap the engine’s computer software so it makes more power and has increased efficiency. This is possible because a car manufacturer has to build a vehicle to please everyone, where the aftermarket engineers are focused solely on adding every last ounce of power from your vehicle. They can even design programs to maximize the power with a certain grade of fuel, say 91 octane.

If you are one of the lucky dogs that has a turbocharged engine, programmers make incredible differences, as they can adjust the amount of boost the engine makes, along with the fuel and engine timing. If you happen to own an automatic transmission you can often alter the shift points and the firmness of the shift itself. The final bonus is the speedometer correction. If you change the rear end gearing or the tire size, you can now adjust for that so your speedometer is accurate.

Suspension Upgrades

Suspension upgrades have been popular as long as people have been fixing up cars. Maybe you want to lower your vehicle to give it that “sitting on the ground” look. Or maybe being a weekend warrior is right up your alley. From basic items like lowering springs and shocks/struts, to full blown replacement coilover packages, we have you covered. Do you need new swaybars to keep the vehicle flat as a board in the corners? We have you covered. How about new control arms to make sure all that new found power makes it to the ground?
