Audio Designs And Custom Graphics Attends Knowledgefest

In recent years, we have become part of a tight-knit community of 12 volt retailers. We communicate often online and on the phone. Our counterparts talk a lot about an industry event called Knowledgefest. This year, Audio Designs and Custom Graphics decided to take the advice of our industry friends and attend this event.

What Is Knowledgefest?

To put it simply, Knowledgefest is a gathering of the best and the brightest in our industry. It is a place for people who take their business seriously to learn from others. Daily seminars are held covering a wide range of topics. Everything from integrating with today’s complex vehicles to custom fabrication to managing and understanding you balance sheet is covered.  We even were treated to a jazz band playing live during a demonstration on critical listening.

Perhaps the best thing about Knowledgefest is the networking that happens. When you sit down for lunch, it always turns into a Q&A session with some very smart people. We learned a great deal from these encounters and are happy to have contributed to the conversations!

In addition to all of this, we get to see some new and exciting technologies that are coming to market. New audio lines, high-tech integration devices, and specialty amplifiers and speaker are just a few of the very cool thing that we were exposed to. In many cases the attendees were the first people in the industry to see these new developments.

What Does Attending Knowledgefest Mean To Us?

Knowledgefest is an expensive proposition to attend. Airfare, lodging, food, and registration fees add up very quickly and they are all shouldered by the attendee. We take what we do seriously and we want to consistently step up our game. We look at this as an investment in ourselves and in our future.

Another event that happens during Knowledgefest is the annual Industry Awards. This year Audio Designs and Custom Graphics was named one of the Top 12 Retailers in North America. While we did not win the big prize this year, we were absolutely humbled to be named to such an exclusive group.
