Jacksonville Business Gets Soul and Scion Vehicle Wraps

A local tint shop contacted Audio Designs and Custom Graphics in Jacksonville to inquire about Scion vehicle wraps for his Scion and Kia. The client had a 2011 Scion xB and a 2011 Kia Soul that he wanted to wrap to represent and advertise his company. We met with the customer to develop a plan and graphics he loved. Then we provided a quote to print and install the graphics on his vehicles.

Vehicle Preparation Process

Our first step is to clean and prepare the vehicles for the installation. We start by washing the car thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris to ensure the vinyl will lay down perfectly flat on the paint. Once the car is clean, we confirm the design measurements match the plan for the vehicle. The final preparation step is to remove any remaining hidden grease or wax on the paint.

We own one of the largest wide-format printers in the Jacksonville area. With its 64-inch wide printing capabilities, we can print massive graphics without the need for seams between multiple pieces. The result is a professional-looking installation with better geometry. We printed the graphics on 3M Envision print wrap film. 3M films have proven themselves time after time to conform beautifully to the contours of our client’s vehicles. They stay in place, year after year. Even the intense Florida sun will not cause the film to peel. For additional protection, we applied a clear laminate to the printed film to ensure it will look great for years.

Kia and Scion Vehicle Wraps

Our team applied the vinyl to the vehicle, ensuring the company logo and lettering is located correctly and properly aligned. The design of these compact utility vehicles is great. The company logo is prominent, and the phone number and website information are ready to read, even from a long distance away.

As you can see from the photos, our team did a great job aligning the side panel to the front bumper, and then to the hood of the Scion.

Custom Window Printing

To carry on the display of the company logo, we printed perforated window vinyl for the rear doors. This film is full of small holes that allow the driver and passenger to see out the window while letting us continue the graphic up the side of the vehicle.
