Investing in training and tools has always been a part of our philosophy here at Audio Designs & Custom Graphics. One tool purchase that has resulted in a direct and measurable benefit to our customers is our CNC router. With our CNC machine, we can fabricate precision, custom-made speaker adapters. Let’s look at some of the benefits of using these in your audio system.
Fitment
OEM vehicle manufacturers often integrate their speakers into custom plastic pods or brackets that mount to the dash, door, rear side panels or rear parcel shelf. These brackets usually include spacers to bring the speaker close to the trim panel. With our custom-made CNC brackets, we can mimic the OEM placement of the speaker while allowing for the use of a premium aftermarket speaker that sounds much better than stock.
Materials
We use expanded PVC plastic in the construction of our speaker mounting adapters. The use of PVC results in a mounting adapter that will not be damaged by water in any way. If a wooden adapter were used, it would swell up and lose shape if it gets wet. This swelling and deformation can cause fitment issues in the door and can even damage the speaker itself. Our expanded PVC mounts are strong and rigid, and will last forever.
Cut by numbers
When we design a new speaker mounting adapter, we save the file on our network server. The next time we work on that same vehicle, all we need to do is load the CNC router with a sheet of expanded PVC and press GO. We can continue with the rest of your system installation while the machine builds you a set of custom speaker mounts.
Sealed up
Our custom PVC brackets place the speaker as close as possible to the factory grille for improved performance. This proximity to the grille helps prevent sound from leaking into the area around the speaker. The result is better performance from your speakers – better because it significantly reduces buzzes, rattles and resonances inside the door. We also use foam trim rings on many brackets to ensure the grille doesn’t buzz against the speaker mount. We can achieve further performance improvement by applying a layer or two of sound-damping material to your vehicle.
It’s attention to detail like this that keeps our customers coming back year after year.
Music is much more than a pastime – it can change your mood. A commute to work, quick drive to the corner store, or a few hours’ drive with family or friends can seem to go faster when you have great music to enjoy. We’d love for you to bring some music to Audio Designs & Custom Graphics so we can let you hear just how great we can make it sound. From our custom speaker mounting brackets to our state-of-the-art subwoofer enclosures – it’s our commitment to our customers to make your music sound the best it can. These Dumpsters are extremely easy to carry while
they may get tied with a truck which enable it to be pulled combined with the truck, because they have
wheels using them in the bottom. Sales correctly actually began at the begining of 2008 because this version was
introduced with the Auto Show that occured in Los Angeles in 2007.
The BLM seems plenty content with their new electric additions nowadays, and
they show indications of needing more inside the future.
