The Jacksonville market is packed with shops who claim to be skilled in car audio amplifier installation. Many offer “The Best Installation Rates in Jacksonville” or “1 Hour Installations.” Consider this: For most of us, our vehicle is one of our largest investments. We spend 10’s of thousands of dollars on a vehicle and we want to enjoy it, trouble-free. Why then would you want to trust it to the “lowest bidder” or need your amplifier installed in just “1 hour?”
Audio Designs and Custom Graphics has provided Jacksonville with amplifier installations that meet a standard for many years. We understand that price is important but the quality that we provide and the security in knowing that it is done right the first time is even more important to most of our clients. Please consider this list of the Top 10 reasons why Audio Designs and Custom Graphics should professionally install your car audio amplifier. We welcome your feedback.
1. We Use Only ANL Fuses In Our Amplifier Installations
ANL fuses are actually bolted down to the conducting surfaces. They do not simply pressure fit like an AGU fuse. This means that you will not suffer from a poor connection which can ultimately melt your fuse holder.
2. We Use An Oscilloscope To Tune Your System
An Oscilloscope or Oscope, is a specialized and expensive piece of test equipment used for determining the clipping point or your source unit. It is also used for correctly setting the gain controls on an amplifier. The truth is, this is not a luxury. It is the only way to properly set up an amplifier after installation. Any shop that does not use an Oscope to set up your amplifier has not properly installed the amplifier.
3. We Use The Positive Ground System When Grounding Your Amp
Grounding your audio system is one of the most critical components of any installation. We take no chances. We use the Pozitive Ground system in all of our installs. This insures that the power supply is solid in every job that we do.
4. We Own And Know How To Use an RTA
Audio Designs and Custom Graphics owns a Real Time Analyzer (RTA) and we know to use it. This is very important when we are integrating with your factory audio system. Many of today’s factory audio systems output the audio in many different frequency ranges. In order to integrate with them properly, we need to know which wires supply which frequencies. This is where an RTA comes in. At Audio Designs and Custom Graphics or Jacksonville, we are experts in how to determine all of this.
5. We Confirm And Verify The Polarity In Every System
When integrating your amplifier, polarity is key. We use state of the art testing equipment to ensure that every speaker is performing at it’s peak level and cooperating with the rest of the system. When a speaker is out of phase, it is working against your system. This is not something you need to worry about at Audio Designs and Custom Graphics.
6. We Use The Correct Size Wire
There is a saying that goes something like “You only get out of something what you put into it.” This is true when it comes to car audio amplifiers. Your amp can only provide it’s peak performance if it is getting all of the power that it needs. This is where your power supply wire and your ground wire come in. If the wire is of substandard quality or too thin, it cannot supply the current needed for those demanding musical passages (or heavy bass drops!). At Audio Designs and Custom Graphics, we use only quality cable in our installations and every system includes the proper size wire to ensure that the amp can do the job our clients are paying for.
7. All Connectors Are Crimped And Soldered
The best and biggest wire is worthless if the connections are not terminated properly. We crimp AND solder every connection to be sure that it will stand the test of time. All sorts of problems can arise from a poor connection. By crimping and soldering the terminal to the wire, you will never need to worry about this type of failure.
8. Flex Loom Under the Hood
We use OEM grade flex loom under the hood to blend our wiring into your vehicle. In most of our installations, you would never know that there has been any aftermarket work done. This is a concept that carries through to all of our work, both under the dash and under the hood.
9. Clean Wiring At The Amplifier
As we touched on in number 8 above, we believe that the wiring should blend into the vehicle. This holds true at the amplifier. We use special looming and wire ties at the amplifier to securely attach the wiring. The result is a very clean appearance throughout the amplifier installation
10. 100 Years Combined Experience
Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience selling and installing car audio products. We have worked at every level within the industry, from the big boxes to manufacturer’s representatives. We understand the importance of customer service and getting it right the first time. We’ve done it all and we do it better than anyone else within a 4 hour drive of our facility.
Conclusion
We are very proud of the business that we have built. Our reputation in the Jacksonville market is 2nd to none. We might not have the best price, but we are the best value for your car audio amplifier installation. We do our installations to a quality standard and we maintain that standard on every installation.
